When Should You Book Wedding Bouquet Preservation?

If you already know you want to preserve your wedding bouquet, we recommend booking before your wedding whenever possible.

Booking ahead gives you one less thing to think about after the wedding and helps make sure there is a plan in place for getting your flowers to us quickly.

That said, if your wedding has already happened, it may not be too late.

Is It Better to Send Your Bouquet Right Away?

Yes. Whenever possible, we recommend getting your bouquet to us as soon as you can after the wedding.

The fresher the flowers are when we receive them, the more options we generally have during the preservation process.

For brides who are shipping their bouquets, we provide a shipping label and instructions to make the process as simple as possible.

What If It Has Been a Few Weeks?

We regularly work with bouquets that are no longer fresh.

Even if your wedding was two or three weeks ago, we may still be able to preserve your flowers.

Some flowers naturally dry, wilt, darken, or lose color while waiting. That does not automatically mean the bouquet cannot be used.

Because we offer color correction, we can often restore some of the tones that naturally fade or change during the drying process.

If certain flowers are no longer usable, we may also be able to supplement the design with replacement flowers when needed.

Can You Preserve a Dried Wedding Bouquet?

Yes.

We can work with bouquets that have already dried and, depending on the condition of the flowers, may be able to carefully rehydrate and press them before beginning the design process.

Every bouquet is different, so we evaluate the flowers individually and determine the best way to preserve as much of the original bouquet as possible.

When Is the Best Time to Book?

The best time to book is before your wedding, especially during busy wedding seasons.

But if your wedding has already passed, do not assume you missed your chance.

Whether your bouquet is fresh, starting to dry, or has already been sitting for a couple of weeks, reach out to us.

We will take a look at what you have and let you know the best next step.

At Pressed Botanicals, our goal is to work with the flowers from your wedding day even if they do not arrive in perfect condition.
