Wedding Bouquet Preservation in Minneapolis, River Falls & Nationwide

Your wedding flowers are more than just part of your décor. They hold memories from one of the most meaningful days of your life — the flowers you carried down the aisle, held during your vows, and chose specifically to represent your wedding day.

At Pressed Botanicals, we preserve wedding bouquets through traditional flower pressing and transform them into custom framed artwork you can keep in your home for years to come.

We are based in River Falls, Wisconsin, conveniently located near the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, and work with brides throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. But you don’t have to be local to preserve your bouquet with us.

We accept wedding bouquets from all 50 states.

Wedding Bouquet Preservation Near Minneapolis & River Falls

Being located in River Falls allows us to serve couples throughout western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities area, including Minneapolis, St. Paul, Hudson, Stillwater, Woodbury, and surrounding communities.

For local brides, bouquet preservation can be especially simple. Depending on your location and arrangements, flowers may be coordinated for local drop-off or pickup so they can begin the preservation process as soon as possible after your wedding.

Your bouquet is then carefully taken apart and placed into our presses, where the flowers gradually dry while maintaining their natural shape and character.

Not Local? Ship Your Wedding Bouquet to Us

While we love working with Minnesota and Wisconsin brides, Pressed Botanicals is not limited to local weddings.

We work with brides across the United States and accept bouquets from all 50 states.

If you fall in love with our pressed floral style but live farther away, you can still have your wedding bouquet preserved with us. For brides shipping their flowers, we provide a prepaid shipping label along with instructions for safely preparing and packaging the bouquet for its trip to our Wisconsin studio.

This allows you to choose your preservation artist based on the style of artwork you love rather than simply choosing the closest option to your wedding venue.

No matter where your wedding takes place, your flowers can make their way to us.

What Happens to Your Bouquet?

Once your bouquet arrives, we begin carefully preparing each flower for pressing.

Flowers typically remain in the presses for approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on the varieties, size, moisture level, and condition of the flowers when they arrive.

Some flowers naturally change color while drying. When needed, we use gentle color-correction techniques to bring some of their original tones back while still keeping the character of a naturally preserved flower.

Certain flowers may also be carefully reconstructed petal by petal after pressing.

Once your flowers are ready, we begin designing your custom frame. We work with you during the design process so your finished piece feels personal to your bouquet and wedding day.

Our overall turnaround time is typically around 4–6 months, depending on the flowers, season, and complexity of the design.

Your Bouquet Becomes Artwork for Your Home

One of our favorite things about pressed flower preservation is that your bouquet doesn’t have to stay packed away in a keepsake box.

It becomes artwork.

Your preserved flowers can hang in your bedroom, living room, hallway, or alongside your wedding photographs as a daily reminder of your wedding day.

Every bouquet is different, which means every frame we create is completely unique.

Some bouquets are bright and colorful. Others are soft and neutral. Some include large statement flowers, while others are filled with delicate greenery and tiny blooms.

We design around the flowers you actually carried so the finished piece still feels like your bouquet.

Planning Ahead for Bouquet Preservation

If you already know you would like to preserve your wedding bouquet, we recommend reserving your preservation before your wedding whenever possible.

Wedding dates — especially during peak wedding season — can fill quickly.

Booking ahead also allows you to enjoy your wedding day knowing there is already a plan in place for your flowers afterward.

And if your wedding has already happened, don’t panic.

We can often work with bouquets that have already begun drying, and in some cases we can even preserve older dried flowers by carefully rehydrating and pressing them.

Preserve Your Wedding Bouquet From Anywhere in the United States

Whether you are getting married in Minneapolis, St. Paul, River Falls, Hudson, Stillwater, somewhere else in Wisconsin or Minnesota, or anywhere else in the United States, we would be honored to preserve your flowers.

Pressed Botanicals accepts bouquets from all 50 states, and brides who ship their bouquets to us receive a prepaid shipping label to help make the process as easy as possible.

Your wedding flowers only bloom for a short time.

Your memories and the artwork created from them can last much longer.
