How to Choose the Right Frame Size for Your Wedding Bouquet

Choosing the right frame size for your preserved wedding bouquet depends on a few things: the size of your bouquet, the types of flowers in it, how much of it you want included, and the overall look you want for your finished piece.

At Pressed Botanicals, every bouquet is different, so there is no single frame size that works for everyone.

Start With Your Bouquet Size

A smaller, delicate bouquet can work beautifully in a smaller frame, while a larger bouquet or one filled with oversized flowers will usually need more space.

Flowers like roses, peonies, hydrangeas, lilies, orchids, and other statement blooms can take up quite a bit of room once pressed.

How Much of Your Bouquet Do You Want Included?

This is one of the biggest things to consider.

If you want to preserve as much of your bouquet as possible, a larger frame will give us more room to work with.

If you prefer a simpler, more minimal design using a selection of your favorite flowers, a smaller frame may be a better fit.

Neither option is better — it simply depends on the look you love.

Flower Size Matters Too

Two bouquets can be similar in overall size but need completely different layouts.

A bouquet full of tiny wildflowers will fit very differently than one made with large roses, peonies, or tropical flowers.

That is why we consider both the overall bouquet and the individual flowers when recommending a frame size.

Think About Where You’ll Display It

It can also help to think about where your finished piece will live.

A smaller frame may work beautifully next to wedding photos or in a bedroom, while a larger frame can become more of a statement piece in your home.

Not Sure Which Size to Choose?

You do not have to figure it out on your own.

If you are unsure which frame size will work best, we can help guide you based on your bouquet, flower size, preferred design style, and how much of the original bouquet you would like included.

At Pressed Botanicals, every frame is designed around the flowers you send us.

The goal is simple: to give your bouquet enough space to become a beautiful piece of artwork that still feels like your wedding day.
